Remote Camera – what it means?

A:

A video source (Camera) is defined as remote when it is connected to any other video switcher than the keyboard that is controlling it (eg. switching, panning etc).

Remote Monitor - what it means?

A:

A monitor or any other video destination device (eg. VCR, DVR etc) is defined as remote when it is connected to any other video switcher than the keyboard that is controlling it (eg. switching, VCR motion control etc).

Video Tie Line - what it means?

A:

Media used to carry the video signal (eg. video cable, radio or optical link etc) that connects the video output on one switcher (JH2000) to the video input on another. These kinds of connections are frequently used in the networked or expanded systems where multiple video switchers form the integrated switching and controlling system.

How to switch between PAL and NTSC video formats?

A:

To switch between video standards the PC keyboard needs to be attached to the unit. Press and hold the key labelled "P" to switch to PAL format or "N" to switch to NTSC standard.

How to find firmware version number?

A:

The firmware version is displayed on the first page of the system's configuration menu - Main Menu. To activate the menu, press and hold the appropriate function key (F1 to F8) on the attached PC keyboard. The F1 key corresponds with the monitor attached to the video output 1, F2 corresponds with the monitor attached to the video output 2 etc through to F8 where the monitor is attached to video output 8. To deactivate menu, press and hold the ESC key.

Note: Only one menu screen can be displayed at any one time (only on one monitor).
